Terms and conditions of enrolment

1. Group Classes

Group courses must be completed within the stipulated period of 10 weeks, excluding holidays. Each session runs for 1.5 hours, and group sizes are capped at 8 students.

2. Missed Classes

If you miss a class, you have three options. Usually, one hour before the next class is sufficient to catch up if a longer class was missed.

• ·Option 1 — Request the Zoom recordings for the entire course from our administrator. Recordings are an optional paid add-on and are not included in the course fee: S$54.50.
• ·Option 2 — Schedule a one-on-one make-up class with the Mandarin language trainer: S$43.60 for a one-hour session.
• ·Option 3 — Engage in self-study. To ensure the quality of learning, you are only allowed to miss two classes to progress to the next term, and a maximum of two make-up classes is permitted.

3. Private Classes

Private courses must be completed within the validity date stated, unless specified otherwise. Each class must be a minimum of 2 hours.

Rescheduling of classes must be arranged and agreed between the trainer and the student at least 24 hours beforehand, otherwise the class will be considered consumed. A transport surcharge applies for areas that are inaccessible by public transport.

4. Certificate of Completion

A certificate of completion is issued on the last day of class, provided attendance is at least 80%.

5. Recordings

Lesson recordings are an optional paid add-on and are never included in the course fee. Zoom recordings of the entire course can be requested from our administrator for S$54.50.

6. Syllabus and Class Changes

Crystal Learning Centre reserves the right to alter, augment, or reduce our proprietary syllabus to improve learning quality.

Crystal Learning Centre reserves the right to postpone the start of a class, with prior notice, if there are insufficient students.

7. Enrolment and Payment

By enrolling in any Yi Mandarin Mandarin Language School course, you agree to these terms and conditions. Enrolment is confirmed only when full payment has been received.

All fees are quoted in Singapore Dollars (S$) and include GST where applicable. New students cannot commence their official classes while any fees are outstanding, and existing students will not be able to attend classes while any fee or payment is overdue. All outstanding fees must be settled in full before lessons resume.

A payment processing fee applies depending on the payment method used, and course fees are reviewed from time to time.

8. Course Materials

All course materials provided are for the personal use of the enrolled student only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared.

9. Code of Conduct

Students are expected to behave respectfully toward teachers and fellow students. Crystal Learning Centre reserves the right to terminate enrolment without refund in cases of disruptive or abusive behaviour.

10. Refunds and Withdrawal

Withdrawal and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which sets out the refund schedule, the 3% administration charge, the cooling-off period, and how a written notice of withdrawal is submitted.

11. Intellectual Property

All curriculum, materials, and branding remain the intellectual property of Crystal Learning Centre and Yi Mandarin Mandarin Language School.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
