US vs China trade war
If you have been reading, you would have come across the latest news about Google banning Huawei’s phone users from accessing Google’s suite of services i.e. Gmail, maps and etc.
If you think the US is unfair in their dealings, you should know the Chinese are equally guilty as well.
And it is surprising that the US government is banning Chinese’s companies now, when the Chinese government had already banned Facebook, Google, Amazon and Whatsapp and etc. in China many years ago.
Sheltered from foreign competitions in their domestic market and allowing access to foreign market has done wonders for Chinese companies. Huawei for example, is now fast on their way to becoming the world’s largest smartphone maker before the end of 2019. Alibaba Group Holding Ltd, the largest retailer in the world after surpassing Wal-Mart Stores Inc and Alibaba.com, the world’s largest business-to-business trading platform.
With such successes, shouldn’t now be the time that Chinese relax their trade laws to allow some healthy competitions into their own economy? You can bet there will be more innovations with the likes of competition from Facebook, Google and etc into the Chinese market.
If the Chinese continue with their current trade rules, they should probably brace themselves and prepare for more from Trump…
